Armadillo Metalworks blends old world craft tradition with modern fabrication techniques to create custom architectural and ornamental metalwork. Staircases, railings, bespoke hardware, architectural doorways — each piece designed and created to the unique and specific demands of the project, and the exacting standards of the studio.

Their reputation within the architecture and design community is well established. What Armadillo needed was a visual identity to match it — creative photo and video that could showcase the range of their work and bring in new collaborations. Intralander was brought in to build that library and support their creative content marketing.

Our work with Armadillo is ongoing – cinematic video and creative photography document the process: the forming, the shaping, the assembly, the finishing. From small hand-forged finials to large-scale custom staircases, the content captures the full range of what the shop produces and the craft behind every piece.

Photography and videography became foundational to the transformation. We documented the precision, materiality, and scale of CNR’s projects, as well as the discipline and expertise of the team executing them.

Armadillo Metal Works now has a visual archive that reflects the true standard of their craft – content built to deepen relationships with existing partners and open doors with new ones. Architects and contractors working at the highest level of residential and commercial design need to trust what they specify.
